The Purpose of Junior Chef’s Camp (JCSC) is to introduce pre-teens and teens (8-14 years old) to the joys of preparing fun and nutritious foods. Campers will have opportunities to explore new foods, try exotic flavors, and build confidence in the kitchen.
Under the supervision of the (PCAI) staff, children will craft breakfast, lunch, snack, and more sophisticated dinner meals. Incorporated into cooking lessons, campers will play fun, educational games that encourage nutritition and healthy eating.
What’s included: All campers will receive child-appropriate instruction on kitchen safety, cleanliness, and food preparation. All food supplies are included. Campers will be provided a morning snack & lunch included in the registration fees. Campers will be provided a (JCSC) apron that they will be able to design.
